resultThe conclusion of the Hawara geophysic-survey is waiting to be officially released by the Supreme Council of Antiquities (Egypt). The Mataha-expedition research information as exchanged on the workshop in Cairo (August 2008 ), and the public lecture at Ghent University ( October 2008) is currently withold by dr Zahi Hawass, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities. Egyptian law decrees Dr. Zahi Hawass a strict privacy and security policy. Till the official release by Dr. Zahi Hawass, the Mataha-expedition team is prohibited to openly communicate or publish the scanning results, under prosecution by the Egyptian National Security.
